Community Center
The Community Center is located at the end of Appleby Road and is available for rental for various events and functions. It has a fully equipped kitchen, tables and chairs and holds about 150 people. Rental is only available to Port Wentworth residents.
The cost to rent the Community Center is $150 a day.

- The Community House is for Port Wentworth Residents ONLY.
- The Community House is expected to be left in the way it was found and be locked when leaving. The bathrooms also need to be checked for any trash, waste, etc.
- The rental of the Community House is for ONE DAY ONLY! Your rental date is the only day that you are allowed in the Community House – from 7:00 AM until 11:00 PM on the day stated in your rental agreement.
- Also, please understand that the Community House is to be used strictly for recreational purposes only and there is to be NO ADMISSION CHARGE under any circumstances.
P.B. Edwards Jr. Gymnasium
P.B. Edwards Jr. Gymnasium is located at 101 Turnberry Street, Port Wentworth, Georgia 31407 and can be rented for many occasions. The gymnasium measures 100 ’by 80’ and seats approximately 300. It has a full kitchen/concession stand with pull out bleachers, tables and chairs, as well as a high school regulation basketball court, volleyball court and skates for skate party rentals.

- Hourly Rate: $85.00 per hour

- The City of Port Wentworth the Recreation Department will need a copy of your liability insurance if you are an organization renting for tournaments, on-going practices, or events.
- The gym is expected to be left in the way it was found (including all tables, chairs, bleachers, red mat, air and heat off) when leaving. Please make certain that all four front doors are locked when leaving. The lights also need to be turned off when leaving the gym. All trash must be placed in the dumpster that sits in front of the gym and new trash bags replaced in trash cans. Everyone must be out of the gym by 11:00 PM (including clean-up time). Also, there is to be NO ADMISSION CHARGE from the renter unless otherwise approved by the City of Port Wentworth Recreation Department.
- Please also understand that this facility is a Red Cross Disaster Relief Station and in the event of a disaster the facility may not be accessible.
Houston Church
Houston Church is located at 8000 GA Hwy. 21, Port Wentworth – north of I-95.
Rental Rates

Lewis Mobley Park
The City of Port Wentworth’s sports park complex is called Lewis Mobley Park, which includes a playground, football/soccer field, three baseball diamonds, restrooms and a concession stand. It is located around the 400 block of Armadale Road.
Fields are available on a first come first serve basis when not in use by the Port Wentworth the Recreation Department.

- Hourly Rate: $60.00 per hour (2 hour minimum; includes lights)
- Full Day: $950.00 per day
- Weekend Rental: $1,850.00
- Concession Stand: $100.00 per day
Non-Resident
- Hourly Rate: $85.00 per hour (2 hour minimum; includes lights)
- Full Day: $1,100.00 per day
- Weekend Rental: $2,200.00

- Clubhouse Only: $75.00 per day (2-hr minimum)
- Clubhouse & Field: $100.00 per hour
- Weekend (Tournament Rental): $1,100.00

- Hourly Rate: $85.00 per hour (2 hour minimum; includes lights)
- Full Day: $650.00 per day
