This free event follows the overarching national theme of Black History Month in 2026: A century of Black History Commemorations. Attendees can expect musical entertainment from a live DJ, performances by student groups, a historical presentation, and special guest appearances that all aim to celebrate 100 years of national efforts to study, honor, and celebrate Black history and contributions. The keynote speaker for the event will be Rev. Paul Smith, president of the Savannah chapter of the NAACP.
