City of Port Wentworth receives $1.26 million grant for new Anchor Park development
PORT WENTWORTH, GA – May 13, 2024 – The City of Port Wentworth has received a grant from the Public Service Commission (PSC) for $1.26 million to provide energy for the new Anchor Park development. The PSC unanimously approved this grant which will be used to construct pipeline facilities to provide natural gas service for the new 150-acre recreational sports and entertainment park. The City of Port Wentworth will partner with Atlanta Gas Light (AGL) to facilitate this energy project.
